Today, OSF Saint Anthony is a 254-bed tertiary care facility on a 100-acre campus on the east side of Rockford. Anderson Gardens
Anderson Japanese Gardens are Japanese Gardens located at 318 Spring Creek Road, Rockford Illinois. They are open to the public daily from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. between May 1 and October 31. In 2004 the gardens were named finest Japanese garden in North America by the Journal of Janpanese Gardening. They were established in Rockford in 1978 by John R. Anderson.

DiscoveryCenter
The Discovery Center Museum in Rockford Illinois is full of over 250 exciting hands-on exhibits spread over a two-floor area. Out in the museum's backyard, visitors can explore Rock River Discovery Park, a giant, multi-level science park with a hands-on twist! The museum also hosts traveling exhibits, special events and programs throughout the year.

Showplace 16
Showplace 16 is Rockford, Illinois main theatre for movies. The Rockford box office opens 30 minutes before the start of the first show. The theatre has stadium seating and digital sound. All shows at Rockford Showplace 16 are $6.50 before 6:00pm and $8.00 after 6:00pm Sunday-Thursday. They do have special $7.00 pricing for seniors and children under 12 are $6.50. Saturday and Sunday adult prices are $8.50.

Klehm Arboretum
Klehm Arboretum is a 155 acre site that is part of the Winnebago County Forest Preserve district. Klehm features beautiful gardens, fountain and much more. Admission to Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden is $4.00 for each adult 16 and older. Members of the Klehm Arboretum & Botanic Garden are admitted free of charge. Additional fees are charged for special events and guided tours.

Rockford Park District

Rockford Park DistrictThe Rockford Park District has received national recognition status in several areas, including Sportscore. The Rockford Symphony
The Rockford Symphony Orchestra is one of the leading cultural institutions in Northern Illinois, performing over twenty classical and pops concerts annually. The RSO was incorporated in 1943 after performing for the community for nine seasons under its first Music Director and Manager, Arthur Zack, who led the orchestra for twenty-seven years in Rockford, Illinois.
